I (Mr Winch) took this night shot while we (Mum, Dad and my mate Tassie) were camping at Rainbow Valley, in the Northern Territory. We had taken three weeks to drive some of the famous Australian desert 4WD tracks before spending a few days exploring the National Parks and Conservation Reserves in the Northern Territory. This was our last campsite before rolling into Alice Springs before Mrs Unwind arrived to join me on the trip. Rainbow Valley is a scenic destination in Central Australia and I’d highly recommend those driving through this area to stop over for a day or two. Since Tammy missed out, it looks like we might just have to plan a trip to go back one day.
