The Outback Dingo

Would you ever expect to see a dingo this pretty in the Australian Outback? During our travels through the desert, we saw a few like this. Did you know that Dingoes vary in colour? It has to do with the range of climates they live in. Most common are the desert dingoes, reddish, ginger or orange in colour. We also saw many golden sand coloured ones (pictured here), and there are the golden yellow ones too. Reports state that some dingoes may be close to a black colour and then there are the Alpine Dingoes that have a light cream coat.
