What do you get when you have four mates enjoying a beer on an isolated Cape York beach? Funny as hell stories, a candid photoshoot and plenty of ‘my truck is bigger and better than your truck” stories!
While we enjoy our solo travels, we also appreciate the memories you create when travelling with family, friends and great mates – not much beats that. Back in 2015, we spent three weeks exploring Cape York from Cairns right to the Tip and the East Coast along the way. Seven 4wd trucks start in convoy and, we finished the three weeks with just two. Some left to go back to work (poor buggers) one ended up on the mechanic in Bamaga (long bloody story!) and us remaining two kept on with the adventures. We had an age range between sixty-five through to eighteen, but that didn’t stop the conversation from flowing around the campfire every night. Everyone had an experience they will last a lifetime.
