When you think of the Australian desert, do you picture cascading waterfalls and secret rock pools? That’s exactly what we found when John led us along the Sandy Blight 4WD Track in a remote section of the Gibson Desert in Western Australia. This stunning discovery blew us all away. After parking the trucks up, we could hear water running, so we walked toward the sound and came upon the Bungabiddy Rock Pool. We were in the middle of what felt like, nowhere and had this all to ourselves.
The Sandy Blight Track is one for your 4WD Bucket List! Remote, easy, camels roaming everywhere and full of history, it is well worth it!
